Transparent PET (Clear Vinyl Backing)

  • Highly transparent PET material (waterproof)
  • Clear stickers on a fully transparent PET vinyl backing
  • Coating cannot be applied due to static interference on plastic material
  • Although the same Transparent PET and Transparent PET (w/ clear vinyl backing) are used, the pricing differs with backing.
  • Printing ink is sprayed onto the PET material and heat is applied to stabilize. Therefore the quality of print may differ from printing on papers.
    Since white ink is firstly spray before CMYK (color) ink, there may be a mixture of ink colors and the result may not be 100% vivid. (Example: See black area in “Actual Output” image on right)
  • Order 1pc (sample) before bulk order is recommended.
  • No refund/return is made for any color differences.

*Small Stickers (5mm & above)
- Cutlines within a small 10x10 stickers, may not be cut properly, as it is too small.

- Multiple sticker sheets in one big sheet cannot be produced.   Please order per sheet design.

02. Create PDF: Cutting Lines1

*Adobe Illustrator - Add a layer for the cutting line and Save As PDF.

e.g) When Creating a 150x100mm Sticker Sheet
*Working Size = 154x104mm
Please leave a 5mm gap margin between the cutting line and working size. 144X94mm would be recommended.

❷ Draw a vector line using Tools > Pen (See Stroke)
❸ Adobe PDF Preset : Press Quality > Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5) > Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers

If there are too many path line counts, go to Object > Path > Simplify to reduce the counts.

03. Path Line Counts - Additional Charges.

❶ Additional cost will be incurred for cutting line length (total) of 3.5mm (3500mm) based on an A5 sheet.

04. Cut Line Corners

*These stickers are cut individually, piece by piece.

Unlike Thomson die-cutting method, we cut each stickers piece by piece for each sheet.
Due to this, there is a slight cuttting shift of 0.5-1mm during production, especially around corners or edges (arrow in red).
*Reference: Thomson Die-cutting (mainly used in bulk printing)

05. Avoid Lettering Stickers

*Minimum Sticker Size
- 5x5 (mm) & above
- For SYNAPS Removable Sticker : 20x20(mm) & above

*5x5mm and below cutline cannot be produced.

We recommend to avoid sharp edges or complicated jagged cutlines.
(do note that Deluxe Matte Adhesive requires at least 20x20mm)

06. Between Stickers : 3mm margin gap

*Sticker Gap Margin: 3mm and above

With a 3mm gap margin, there will be no issues peeling off each individual sticker on the sheet.

A 3mm gap margin is required on all sides for free shape cutting.

Note :
1. The printed output on Gold/Silver/Colored papers may differ from regular white-based papers.
2. Although, white ink print (100% opacity) can be produced on these papers, the white color may appear pinkish.

1. Take note that coating on paper may come off due to heat, humidity or oil over time. Heat generated surfaces such as laptops, mobile phones etc.
2. Take note that Matte coating on Transparent Sheet Adhesive may look somewhat translucent as compared to the Glossy coating, which is clearer.

Data Production & Ordering

After working on your artwork in the printing layer, go to Type > Create Outline.

Fill color or image in the background of the sticker.
If Transparent PET or Gold/Silver PET is selected, JPG/PNG files uploaded without white printing layer will be printed in CMYK.

EClick Text on the left panel to Add Title. Select Fonts and Size before creating into a Sticker.

Default offset path line is set at 2mm.
Be cafeful not to set to a negative number (e.g -1.5mm) as cutting line may cut into the text area.

7. Precaution When Uploading File

Ensure that there is more than 3mm margin gap between objects; if not, there will be a warning shown at the bottom of the screen.
You will not be able to complete your edits if this occurs. Cutting line need to be at least 3mm thickness.
