Tiling

Although there is no output size limitation in large format printing, however, there is a limitation of maximum width a machine can print and the width of substrate available in the market is fixed, therefore, it is not possible to produce one printout with width bigger than the fixed number.
In order to produce larger printout, printing has to be divided into several parts, and this process is called tiling.
In Red Printing, tiling images are usually divided in an even manner vertically to fit the width of the substrate.
Horizontal division is also possible depending on customers’ needs.
