Large Format Printing

Large format printing also called wide format printing. Like what it is called, this kind of printing print on large and wide substrate, customer can print any size that they want without much restrictions as printing will be done on large roll of substrate.

Aqueous Inks (Indoor Use)

The most common type of large format printing is printing using water-based inks.
Printing with aqueous inks allows sharp and vivid color presentation but these types of inks also fade rather quickly under ultraviolet rays of the sun, hence, they are best to be kept indoors.
And the inks are rather weak to water, so they are best used for short term promotional work.
Commonly used for indoor signs and banners as well as short term outdoor advertisement.
The most commonly used size for this type of printing is as follows.
The print width must be 5mm smaller than the substrate width.
910mm, 1270mm, 1520mm

Latex Inks (Outdoor Use)

A printing method using synthetic ink developed by Hp (Hewlett Packard).
It can be printed on many different surfaces including vinyl and unlike aqueous ink, this type of ink does not fade easily with ultraviolet rays or water, hence it is highly suitable for outdoor used advertisement.
Moreover, latex ink is made without dangerous toxic chemicals and is environmentally friendly, hence, it is also widely used for printing such as wall paper in children’s room.
Coating is also applicable on this ink. Red Printing provide large format latex printing up to width size of 3.2 meter.
Substrates’ width used in Red Printing are 1370mm, 1820 mm, 2000 mm, 3200 mm
