Definition of Cutting and Working Size (Including Bleed Size)

Cutting Size

Refers to the actual size of the printed material.

Working Size

All material is used only after the top and bottom had been cut off, but mistakes always happen during this stage.
Hence, precautions are needed and cutting margin is given to avoid cutting mistake that leads to defected output.
The size of the data including the cutting margin is called working size (see image) and all data submitted should include working size.
