The process to provide a strong covering holding the pages of a book together is called binding.
Binding types: Perfect Binding, Saddle Stitched, Wire-O (ring), Spiral, Sewn, Looped Stitched, Lay Flat binding, Thread Sewn Binding.
Pages are bind together according to the desired page orders.

Landscape or Portrait - File arrangement must be made according to desired page orientation. All pages must be aligned in the same direction to order specifications.
This is the most common book binding method used for textbooks and magazines.
It uses glue to bind the pages and cover together, in the process of book binding, the binding side (which is the spine) will be cut and glue will be applied prior to attaching the book cover.
If the inner paper used for your book is too thick, the binding side might crack when the page is open.
This is the most common book binding method used for brochures and catalogs.
Cost-effective and easy to spread pages wide.
As this is produced with folding sheets of paper into halves, saddle stitched pages should be in multiples of 4 (4,8,12,16,20 etc) pages.
Usually produces for books less than 60 pages and binded with a stapler core in the center.
Most commonly used for notebook, sketch book (coiled) with ring stitched onto the binding surface of the pages.
Ring binding allow complete unfold and flipping of pages. Furthermore, pages can be easily removed from the binding.
Do note that if the fixed ring is broken or damaged, it would be difficult to flip pages.
*Caution: Please allow 1cm margin between text and ring binding area.
